The painter behind the work
Matthew Heater
Matt Heater grew up in West Virginia and moved to Florida with his parents as a teenager. He has lived and worked in the Netherlands since 1975: first in Amsterdam, and in Almere since 1994.
His love of cars shows in his paintings, above all in old American cars. He had been drawing and painting for years; at the Schildergroep Almere painting group his creativity truly took shape. He prefers to work in oils.
